Each Month Fit To Go would like to recognize one special recruit for the their individual efforts. This honour is given to a recruit for their commitment to the boot camp program. The honoured recruit must work hard, have a positive attitude, and be willing to improve their fitness level. We ask each recruit a few questions about their experience in the boot camp program and what their personal fitness goals are. We post them on our website along with their picture. All honoured recruits will receive a Fit To Go dry-fit workout shirt!

1. Why have you decided to join the Fit to Go boot camp?
The most physical activity I had been doing for the last few years was going to the fridge for another snack and it was time to stop. I have a cousin that lost
almost two hundred pounds and ran a 10 K marathon, came in last but completed it and her dedication inspired me to do something good for myself.
2. What are your personal fitness goals?
Really I just want to be healthy and active. I want to be able to join the volleyball games at the beach without being winded and red faced and I’d like to
be able to keep up with my husband who has worked out faithfully for over 20 years.
3. What motivates you to exercise?
The fact that I can actually walk, run and workout for an hour twice a week without feeling that I’m going to pass out or throw up keeps me coming back.
I would also like to fit into some you look great for a 50 year old jeans cause my skinny jeans are out of style.
4. How many days a week do you exercise and how long each session?
I come to boot camp classes twice a week for one hour each and on the odd occasion I get on the treadmill at home, however I’m not consistent at home. I
would like to improve in that area.
5. How many years have you been active person?
I have been active most of my life but sort of lost interest the last 10 years when my Synchronized skating team folded.
6. Do you find every day life is enhanced by exercise?
Yes, I have more energy and have found myself able to do more at home in the evenings.
7. What would be the one aspect of the boot camp that really draws you regularly?
I like being outdoors and I enjoy the variety.
8. Any advice for new/beginner boot camp recruiters?
Keep at it you’ll be amazed at the positive changes you’ll see in yourself.
9. Other comments?
Thanks for the honour Kristi and your encouragement always keeps me from seeing myself as last.

2. What are your personal fitness goals?
Increase strength and endurance.
3. What motivates you to exercise?
Kristi does, that girl has so much energy, she is uplifting at boot camp especially after working 10hrs and not really ready to work out. She always gets you motivated. Also I like the outdoor fresh air and the group fitness atmosphere
4. How many days a week do you exercise and how long each session?
twice a week I do boot camp. I try to run 5km twice a week with my dog, Zeus..
5. How many years have you been active person?
All my life. Enjoy sports.
6. Do you find every day life is enhanced by exercise?
I find I have more energy by working our. Also it sets a great example for my kids
7. What would be the one aspect of the boot camp that really draws you regularly?
The structure and discipline. I know I would not work this hard at a gym. Kristi changes the workouts and keeps the program interesting. Also the outdoor atmosphere is so nice compared to a stinky gym.
8. Any advice for new/beginner boot camp recruiters?
Don’t be Leary. Women of all body types and levels of physical fitness are at the boot camp. You will fit in just fine and meet great people. You will enjoy the workouts. It’s a great workout.
9. Other comments?
Enjoy the outdoors and flexibility of two classes. Kristi is a true motivator. She keeps the classes interesting and always trying new things. It is a great workout. I have so much more energy in the evening since doing boot camps.
