-
Why have you decided to join the Fit To Go boot camp?

-
What motivates you to exercise?
_The results - I feel great afterward and I know that exercise helps improve us physically as well as mentally

Twice a week at boot camp - 1 hour each time - but I am also active on my own - walking, bicycling, running etc
-
How many years have you been active person? As long as I can remember!

Absolutely! Mentally and physically….
-
What would be the one aspect of the boot camp that really draws you regularly?
The quality of the training - you always challenge me to go that extra step! The other thing is the time - I would not wait in town to take part in a program as I find that once I am home (in the county) I will NOT come back to town….so the 4:45 time slot is perfect for me! Until this boot camp - I was unable to find a program that worked with my schedule.
-
Any advice for new/beginner boot camp recruiters?
Once you start and make it a regular part of your schedule you will miss it if you stop - I took about 6 weeks off and really felt the difference! I was happy to get back into my regular routine - which includes Boot Camp.
-
Final Comments: Thanks for choosing me - I accept the honour! And THANK YOU KRISTI for your support and great training!! Debby

Thank you to Kristi for her knowledge of fitness, her ability to encourage and motivate as well as keep things fun.
1. Why have you decided to join the Fit to Go boot camp?
The most physical activity I had been doing for the last few years was going to the fridge for another snack and it was time to stop. I have a cousin that lost
almost two hundred pounds and ran a 10 K marathon, came in last but completed it and her dedication inspired me to do something good for myself.
2. What are your personal fitness goals?
Really I just want to be healthy and active. I want to be able to join the volleyball games at the beach without being winded and red faced and I’d like to
be able to keep up with my husband who has worked out faithfully for over 20 years.
3. What motivates you to exercise?
The fact that I can actually walk, run and workout for an hour twice a week without feeling that I’m going to pass out or throw up keeps me coming back.
I would also like to fit into some you look great for a 50 year old jeans cause my skinny jeans are out of style.
4. How many days a week do you exercise and how long each session?
I come to boot camp classes twice a week for one hour each and on the odd occasion I get on the treadmill at home, however I’m not consistent at home. I
would like to improve in that area.
5. How many years have you been active person?
I have been active most of my life but sort of lost interest the last 10 years when my Synchronized skating team folded.
6. Do you find every day life is enhanced by exercise?
Yes, I have more energy and have found myself able to do more at home in the evenings.
7. What would be the one aspect of the boot camp that really draws you regularly?
I like being outdoors and I enjoy the variety.
8. Any advice for new/beginner boot camp recruiters?
Keep at it you’ll be amazed at the positive changes you’ll see in yourself.
9. Other comments?
Thanks for the honour Kristi and your encouragement always keeps me from seeing myself as last.

- Why have you decided to join the Fit To Go boot camp?
I wanted to try something new and a workout outdoors was very appealing! Plus the gym was not working for me, I was bored with the workout on the machines and the classes that I wanted to attend were at times that conflicted with my schedule.
- What are your personal fitness goals?
To maintain or lessen my current weight as well as tone those hard to tone areas. You know the ones I mean!
- What motivates you to exercise?
I have two young boys and I want to be able to keep up to them now and as they get older. Being a good role model for my boys is important to our family and I want them to develop an active and healthy life style. By having a regular exercise regime they see the benefits of this and the positive effects it has on our family life.
- How many days a week do you exercise and how long each session?
I attend Kristi’s Boot Camp twice a week, each class is an hour, plus I walk and get outside with my boys as much as I can. I try to run once or twice a week on my own.
- How many years have you been active person?
I have always been an active person but with the demands and the schedule my boys keep, it is sometimes hard to find the time to fit in my interests. I used to ski and play volleyball but my current activities continue to be baseball, cycling, running and the Boot Camp sessions.
-
Do you find every day life is enhanced by exercise?
I most certainly do! Since I have been more active on a consistent basis, I find I have a higher energy level, I am sleeping better and I have not been as sick with the odd cold and flu since working out outdoors.
-
What would be the one aspect of the boot camp that really draws you regularly?
There are two things I really like about the Boot Camp sessions. One is being outdoors, and the second is the variety from the Boot Camp sessions. The exercises are always different and getting a core workout at the same time. I have noticed a big difference in my own strength and endurance levels. This is an improvement that I was not seeing at the gym.
-
Any advice for new/beginner boot camp recruiters?
It is an awesome workout with a very dedicated and knowledgeable trainer. Kristi will help modify an exercise for you so that you get the most from it without putting any undue stress on your body. Boot Camp is hard, but it does get easier you just have to stick with it! You will not believe what you are able to do after a 6 week session!
- Other comments?
I have been attending your Boot Camp classes since last May and your constant encouragement and knowledge of the exercises you plan out are what makes your classes exciting. I love the change of locations around the city, and the variety each session offers! I look forward to regularly attending your classes and getting the best workout that I can get from you. Kristi, your Boot Camp classes are the best and I am very honoured to be your recruit of the month! Thanks!

Why have you decided to join the Fit To Go boot camp?
When I started doing Fit To Go Boot camp, I was trying to find something that worked for me. Signing up at a Gym was not the answer, tried that. Something that I really liked doing, something that showed results and something that would help me to reach my fitness goals and something that I would not become bored with.
-
What are your personal fitness goals?
When I first joined my main goal was to lose weight. Now my focus is more on improving my fitness/strength level. (for example, when I started Boot camp I could barley do 3 regular push-ups, now I can do 23 and I want to continue to improve on that number).
- What motivates you to exercise?
The feeling of accomplishment. Doing exercises that I never thought that I could do and continuously being challenged
- How many days a week do you exercise and how long each session?
I do Boot camp with Kristi 2 days a week for an hour, I play volleyball one night a week and if it is a good week I get out for a 5KM run once per week.
- How many years have you been active person?
I have always been an active person. When I was younger I played sports and danced. But now being active is different. It is now a routine part of life and has to be. I have struggled with my weight for a good part of my life and have finally come to the realization that the answer is to eat healthy, exercise and not deprive myself.
- Do you find every day life is enhanced by exercise?
Absolutely. Making exercise a part of everyday life is so important. For me it is an outlet, it is my time to focus on nothing but getting in a great workout.
- What would be the one aspect of the boot camp that really draws you regularly?
Kristi! When I first signed up for “Boot camp” I didn’t know what to expect. Kristi is the perfect balance of encourager, motivator and drill sergeant!
-
Any advice for new/beginner boot camp recruiters?
Give it a try and you will love it! Each Boot camp that you do will be different and challenge you in different ways.

1. Why have you decided to join the Fit To Go boot camp?
I started doing FitToGo Bootcamp just after I did my first short triathlon. I wanted to build muscle to get my whole body ready for a full-length Triathlon. That was 2 years ago, and I think it was the best thing I could have done. I remember at first not even being able to do a push-up, and now the amount of strength I have gained is great!
-
What are your personal fitness goals?
Better health for a longer life. I have struggled with my weight since I was a kid, diet after diet, I always would always yo-yo back. But since focusing more on fitness and moderation with food without depriving myself, I have been at a consistent weight and able to do things I never thought possible.
-
What motivates you to exercise?
Better health, being able to indulge in chocolate and other sweet treats sometimes, and enjoying the outdoors. Kristi definitely motivates me when I am at Bootcamp. Kristi always knows when to push and when you are giving it your all, and she is manages to do this in an upbeat way that is encouraging and motivating.
4. How many days a week do you exercise and how long each session?
I do Bootcamp once a week, and usually run 10K on Sunday mornings, and a shorter run during the week.. I try to fit in some biking and swimming when possible, and love walking. When training for a triathlon, I spend more time. I
5. How many years have you been active person?
Really just the last 5 years. I was never into sports much, and not really the athletic-type, but I have tried various exercise classes since my early 20s. Most of the classes required too much coordination for me, and I didn’t stick with it. But Bootcamp really worked for me. I loved that it was outside – even in the winter – and coordination was not a key requirement
6. Do you find every day life is enhanced by exercise?
Absolutely! I have so much more energy to funnel into other important things. I have been able to do things I would never have envisioned myself doing, like a triathlon, and that gives confidence to try other new things. It surprises me how I have gotten to the point of wanting to exercise, and missing it if I don’t have time. Nothing like a run or a bootcamp after a frustrating day.!
7. What would be the one aspect of the boot camp that really draws you regularly?
The fact that the program changes every 6 weeks and you are able to see yourself progress during those 6 weeks, this way I don’t get bored doing the same thing..
8. Any advice for new/beginner boot camp recruiters?
Come out and give it a try. It will be hard, but just give it your best and you will be amazed with yourself after 6 weeks. You will have sore muscles - even after 2 years of Bootcamp, every 6 weeks Kristi changes things up and I am sore in spots I didn’t know I had muscles – but it is good – helps me know that it is worth the time and effort!

Kristi’s bootcamps are great. She is a great motivator without being overwhelming or making you feel bad. Bootcamp is tough, but Kristi constantly reminds us that it is our hour, our workout and to make the most of it.
